Locally Grown Citrus Trees for the Coachella Valley

 No. Citrus trees in our area are county-regulated and must be treated regularly and inspected monthly. This helps protect citrus trees from pests and diseases and ensures healthy trees for our customers. 

Standard citrus trees grow larger at maturity, typically reaching 15 to 25 feet tall, making them best suited for larger landscapes. Semi-dwarf citrus trees remain more compact, generally reaching 8 to 15 feet tall, making them a great choice for smaller yards, patios, and container planting.  Both standard and semi-dwarf citrus trees can produce abundant fruit. The main difference is the mature size of the tree rather than the quality or flavor of the fruit.

 We typically carry citrus trees in 5-gallon, 15-gallon, and 25-gallon containers. Not all varieties are available in every size.  The most popular and common size is 15 Gal.

Many varieties are available throughout the year, but availability changes seasonally. Please contact us for current availability. 

Citrus trees can be planted year-round in the Coachella Valley when properly watered and cared for. Spring and fall are especially popular times for planting.

 Yes. Citrus trees perform best with at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight each day. 

Most of our 15-gallon and 25-gallon citrus trees are already producing fruit when sold. Each citrus variety has its own fruiting season, so it is normal for some varieties to have fruit while others do not at the same time. You may not see every variety with fruit year-round, but healthy trees will produce according to their natural season.

Our 5-gallon citrus trees are typically priced between $35 and $40, while 15-gallon trees generally range from $95 to $100. Our 25-gallon citrus trees are typically priced at $195.
